En:Copy HAIR to another scene

Problem:
When you copy your HAIR objects/settings to another scene, the hair won't render. Even if you use "Merge..." to load the hair from the original scene, you'll see the guides, but no hair will show up on the render.
Solution:
When you copy HAIR to another scene, you will get the objects and settings, but the HAIR renderer will not be created. This only happens automatically when creating a new HAIR object. Open the render settings, add the HAIR renderer to the post effect list and you'll be fine.
