Hello – I’m afraid, that’s not true. Please have a look on the render dialogue. At the first page you will find a box to select “Wie Editor rendern” (I haven’t any idea at this moment, how this button is named in English,). However – if your editor window is switched to wire frame mode you will get an exact copy of it while rendering with this option active.
